Today, only a few can translate and understand the old German script. Old documents and contemporary documents of our ancestors from past centuries remain an unencrypted secret. Written in old German scripts such as ‘Suetterlin’ or ‘German Kurrent script’, their exciting content usually remains hidden to today’s curious readers. Many documents are stored in archives, churches, private homes and often simply in the attic among countless old documents, just waiting to be deciphered.
